1. The walls around the conference room are made of plastic aluminum plates, which form a smooth interface and have strong sound reflection. A strong reflected sound enters the microphone, which is amplified by the system to generate a positive feedback, causing a squeal.

2. The installation position of loudspeaker is poor. A pair of loudspeakers are placed in two corners of the conference room, and the sound produced by them is equivalent to the height of the microphone. The direct sound or the sound reflected from the wall is easy to enter the microphone, so it is necessary to generate a squeal.

3. The speaker is too far away from the brief, resulting in a light tone, while raising the volume, due to the limitation of the transmission gain, will also produce a scream.

4. There is no electronic acoustic feedback suppressor in the system, and it is easy to generate squeal.

5. The space of the conference room is narrow, and the sound wave diffusion is poor.

Measures to reduce or eliminate squealing

It's not realistic to eliminate crowing completely, but the following measures can reduce the phenomenon of crowing.

1. Electronic acoustic feedback suppressor is added to the system to adjust all parameters.

2. Change the current speaker to be placed on the ground as a roof hanging, and adjust its radiation direction. Because the existing speaker is bulky, affecting the appearance, replace the special speaker for the meeting.

3. Strictly control the distance between speaker's mouth and microphone within 15cm.

4. In terms of environment, add hangers and soft bags with sound absorption function, and draw heavy curtains.
